About JaLe As a new face in
the Hampton Roads Middle-Eastern Dance community, JaLe is rapidly becoming a well sought after dancer. Her love and passion
for Middle-Eastern dance is easily apparent in her performances. She adores performing and fascinating audiences with her crowd-pleasing improvisation
and choreography. Giving the gift of dance is what she lives for.
From the moment JaLe was audience to a Middle-Eastern dance performance,
she was enamored with the ancient art form and has not stopped belly dancing since. JaLe began instruction in belly dance
on the island of Oahu from highly respected dance teachers including Malia Delapenia
During her time in Hawaii, JaLe was a soloist and principal troupe member of Belly Dancers in Paradise under the
direction of Malia Delapenia. As a troupe member of Belly Dancers in Paradise, JaLe had the privilege of performing at diverse
venues...from casual parties, to multiple TV appearances, and even the prestigious Hawaii Theater! The troupe also travels
to the mainland routinely to perform at Middle-Eastern dance conventions. JaLe had the privilege to teach belly dance classes
for Malia in the "Malia in Hawaii" style (Cabaret fusion).
JaLe
is now based out of the Hampton Roads area where she is continuing her professional solo dance career. She can be seen performing
at local restaurants. She also is teaching belly dance at multiple locations in the local area.
